ABOUT ME
"There is no such thing as a 'broken family'. Family is family, and is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, and adoption documents. Families are made in the heart."
- C. JoyBell C.

In 2011, I began working as a social worker for King County Superior Court Family Court Services in Seattle, WA. During my 6 1/2 years with the court, I developed a true passion for Family Law. I have prepared over 200 forensic reports (which includes both parenting evaluations and domestic violence assessments). My professional goal is to help families establish a practical plan that honors the best interests of the child(ren) while avoiding the emotional and financial downsides of going to trial. In my experience, most cases are able to reach an agreement without going to trial once my report is issued.

Prior to my work in Family Law, I worked for five years in the child welfare arena. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work and am currently licensed as a clinical social worker in both Oregon (LCSW) and Washington (LICSW). My professional memberships include the national and Oregon chapters of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
